Eesti geiperet on tabanud ränk hoop. Club Angel sulgeb kolmekümneks päevaks oma uksed. Nii teavitati Sauna tänaval resideeruva inglimaja kliente augustikuus. Tänaseks on selge, et populaarse geiglubi uksi ei avata ilmselt enam iial. Vähemalt mitte sel aadressil ja ärimees Toomas Toolile kuuluvas kinnistus.

«Brem Kinnisvarabüroo ja Brem Kinnisvarahooldus ajasid klubi Angeli pankrotti,» väidab klubi endine tegevjuht Reimo Mets vihaselt.
Reimo, palun valgusta juhtunu tagamaid täpsemalt.
Angel Café ja Gayclub suleb uksed, sest maja haldav OÜ Brem Kinnisvarahooldus on lülitanud välja elektrienergia Sauna tn 1 aadressil. Hoolimata klubi korduvatest püüdlustest taastada maja elektrienergiaga varustamine ei ole see tulemusi andnud. Samas keelab Brem majaomanikuna sõlmida ööklubil AS Eesti Energiaga otseleping.
Alles hiljuti alustati klubis mahukate renoveerimstöödega ning oktoobriks oli välja kuulutatud suur taasavamise pidu?
Klubi omanikfirma alustas tõepoolest augustis renoveerimistöödega teise korruse kohvikus ja pärast kohviku valmimist oli kavas teha ümberkorraldusi ka keldrikorrusel asuvas klubiosas.
Paraku ei ole sellisel renoveerimisel ja lisainvesteeringutel mitte mingisugust mõtet, kui maja omanik ei ole suuteline varustama maja elektriga. Üldse on teadmata kas mõne kuu pärast on olemas ka vesi ja küte. Need on riskid, mille tulemusel ei ole maja edasine tegutsemine enam võimalik.
Club Angeliga on siis kaputt?
Loomulikult! Sest käibe langus ja sissetulekute puudumine on viinud olukorrani, et Angelit opereeriv ettevõte oli sunnitud saatma töötajatele lepingute erakorralised ülesütlemisteated ja lõpetama tegevuse pankrotiavalduse esitamisega. Omanikfirma ei ole võimeline lihtsalt enam maksma kinni töötasusid ja Bremi võlgnevusi.
Kas meie geid on nüüd kodutud?
Ei, miks? On ju veel X-Baar Tatari tänaval. Ja olgem ausad, loodus ei salli tühja kohta. Küllap sünnib peagi uus kuum geikoht.
Aga see X-Baari maja kuulub ju Eesti Vigastatud Sõjameeste Ühingule, kes pole sugugi rahul geide möllamisega nende maja keldriruumides?
Tõepoolest kurtis Tatari 3 maja omanik hiljuti, et baarist kostev müra peletab veteranide ühingu üürnikke ja põhjustab seega ühingule majanduslikku kahju.
X-Baar asus pärast ettekirjutust lokaali mürataset vähendama, st likvideeriti ventilatsioonitoru, paigaldati müratõkkesein ja tassiti kõlarid teise kohta, jne.
Peale seda saatsime kohale uuesti ka oma ala eksperdid, kes mõõtsid baarist kostuvat võimalikku müra nii hommikul, kui õhtul ning selle tulemusena selgus, et kõik on normi piires. Seega olid Vigastatud Sõjameeste Ühingu pretensioonid alusetud.
